Melanie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Villanova University and completed her training as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Johns Hopkins University. Upon graduation in 2003, she accepted a position in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital where her passion for non-surgical aesthetic services began. At Johns Hopkins,, Melanie served as a cosmetic services provider as well as the educational trainer in the administration of Botox and dermal fillers.

Melanie has over 18 years of experience in the fundamental and advanced injection techniques of Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, and over a dozen cosmetic laser procedures.  Melanie is considered one of the most talented and highly sought after injectors in the Washington, DC area.  After 15 years of caring for DC’s most elite patients, Melanie opened Annapolis Aesthetics to be closer to home and her family.  Melanie is excited to bring her knowledge, expertise, and comprehensive service philosophy to Severna Park, Annapolis, and surrounding areas.  Melanie resides in Severna Park with her husband, Alex, two children, three stepchildren, and their mini Aussie doodle, Bentley.
